Welcome to Ben Thayer's College Football Portfolio.

Ben attended Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, MI.  He was a preferred walk-on for the Eagles in 2006 as a Quarterback.  Two seasons later, Ben changed positions to Tight End, earned a starting position and was awarded a full-athletic scholarship.  Ben has played in 36 straight games since he switched to Tight End in 2008.  

Ben is a Secondary Education Math major and Physics minor.  He has a 3.6 cumulative G.P.A.  He plans to teach high school math and physics and be a head varsity football coach in the future.

After 5 years of N.C.A.A. Division I College Football, Ben is an undrafted rookie free agent and promises to bring his tremendous work ethic, intelligence and skills to any N.F.L. team that calls.
